I believe making a counseling appointment takes courage and demonstrates hope that people and situations can and do change. Coming to therapy is a pro-active choice that ultimately can improve one's health and quality of life because it involves all aspects of our humanity. Counseling is a process of growth and leads toward a rich and full life.
Together we will work toward a greater experience of health as well as a better sense of your life and the choices you make. In our time together, we will talk about your hopes, your needs, and your goals. We will identify obstacles that may be preventing you from reaching those understandings, goals, and circumstances you want in your life.
It is my job to help you discover these answers by offering supportive and nurturing feedback, information, resources, experiences and suggestions of behavior changes that will guide you in overcoming the challenges in your life. My style of counseling addresses the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual components of life as they connect to the presenting concerns and goals.
